Victoria Barclay – President

Being raised in Paris, France did not necessarily prepare Victoria for her unusual future as a professional juggler and improvisational comedienne. Having gained experience as a street performer in the San Francisco and Los Angeles areas, she was scouted by a full-time theatre company and went on the road. That company was hired by Walt Disney Corporation to be the first street theatre performers ever used by Disney and was to become a fixture at Epcot Center’s Italy and U.K. Pavilion’s. It was definitely magical and one of the greatest places on earth to work (being multi-lingual did come in handy there!). After Epcot, Victoria moved to Houston where she met Louis Epstein, founder of Best Entertainers. There Victoria discovered her talent for management and talent/client relations. She also brought with her, her connections with some of the top corporate acts in America. In 1996 Victoria took over the business as Louis went on to pursue other creative avenues, while still staying on as talent and broker of celebrity acts for the company. Victoria continued to develop relationships with top event planners locally and nationally, and Best Entertainers has continued to be the number one resource for talent and creative entertainment ideas in Houston.

Victoria believes in giving back; as well as donating services to fundraisers and various charities, Victoria also taught an after-school program, teaching juggling to mostly transient kids at a local elementary school. She believes it is a unique way to encourage self-esteem, patience and perseverance to children in an age of “instant” everything.

The future of Best Entertainers is bright. With a talented and dedicated staff, new ideas, and new marketing plans, the company looks forward to steady growth, better efficiency and reliable hands-on client service.

Louis Epstein

Louis Epstein began his career as a multi-award winning national and international actor, writer, and comedy performer. As an agent he ushered in a new form of entertainment called “interactive.” This concept has led to the creation of team building games, D.J’s, bands, and variety performers that get into and involve the audience, create exciting participation, and unique improvisational moments that only a fresh and personalized show can give.

Louis started Best Entertainers in 1981 and stepped away to form his own management company. He has managed Michael Davis, one of the leaders of the new vaudeville movement and a number of other national and international stars. Louis continues to broker national entertainment for Best Entertainers and is an advocate for interactive entertainment nationwide.
